NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

My name is Cliff Aylesbury and I’m a charming gentleman who is looking for a forever family. A typical day starts with me waiting quietly in my bed for my foster carers to wake up. For the rest of the day I like to follow them room to room and have them near whenever I can.

I adore walks – I’m getting used to taking three little strolls per day and I can’t get enough. My preferred pace is a light jog rather than a gentle stroll but I like to stop to sniff and leave my ‘scent’ on every tree and corner I pass.

When I’m at home you will find me chilling on the couch or being cuddled in the arms or lap of my foster carers. I enjoy pats, belly rubs and licking myself clean. My wagging tail and large kind eyes show my appreciation.

I’m yet to encounter cats or children while in foster care but I’m friendly with dogs and humans. I growl and bark at strangers if they are out of reach or out of sight but I become fast friends with anyone I get the chance to meet.

I’ve been a little fussy with my food and the only commands I’ll reliably follow are ‘come here’ and ‘down’ but I’m making progress.

My cuddles and affection are quite special. I can’t wait to meet you.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
