NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Breed: Female Maltese/cross
DOB: 24/01/2016
Weight: 7.3kgs
Location: Altona North

Please note: Banjo has developed a beautiful bond with Mary Dubois and they would love to be rehomed together.

Gorgeous wee Mary is a sassy little lady who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to ask for it. She is learning the joys of being in a home where she is loved and cared for, and is working on realising she is not going to be abandoned. Mary loves cuddles and food and enjoys being picked up and having her humans near by.

She is a confident, resilient girl and recently had a dental, practically skipping out of the vet ready to get home. She is good with cats and enjoys the company of other dogs, and loves pottering around the garden and keeping an eye on what is happening with her human and dog companions. She’s recently picked out her favourite toy and likes to carry it around with her (when she’s not demanding to be on her carer’s lap). For a little girl that has obviously gone through a lot, she has a big, loving personality that you can’t help but love.

Mary would suit a quieter home, where her humans are around more often than not. A doggie companion would be a great plus. She has really bonded with her foster sibling Banjo, if you are after a pair.
