“Rebel is doing very well. He was very active for the first few days understandably in a completely new environment, but more than I expected after him having the hip operation, his rehab has certainly given him a full recovery!

He has settled down a lot now and I think he likes living with us here, he gives us the best welcomes when we come home from work or the shops 🥰. He has always slept well at night and mostly eats his meals. His carer did say he’s not food driven which is true. He does stand near his bowl if he wants a bit more so we are communicating well in that area. He is a smart cookie as you said 😁

We’ve been walking him at least twice a day which he absolutely loves. And he loves being outside in the garden snoozing in the sun or exploring.

He gets a bit mouthy when he’s having cuddles, even when he initiates the cuddles so I take my hands away when he does it now. I bought him a chew toy which he loves and that has helped a lot and certainly keeps him busy. He picks it up himself when he feels like it and holds it in his front paws, amazing to see!

So all in all everything is going well and we’re very happy to have Rebel join our family 💙”
