RIP  Little Ashley was one of our earliest saves from Mildura Pound in 2007 as a young boy.  He was my foster dog and not in good nick initially.  But he recovered quickly.  His most memorable habit was standing in the back garden and screaming.  The first time I raced out but he was enjoying himself.  He kept up the habit for quite a while in local parks and so on.  When I took him for a visit with his eventual adopter who lived quite close to me, I left him there briefly and when I came back he saw me through the glass and he ran back inside.  He had decided he wanted to stay. He was a very ‘definite’ little dog.    You were so special Ashley.   TT.

His adopter said:
Dear little Ashley passed away recently. He turned 16 in March, Around that time he started having seizures. He was prescribed some medication which worked very well and prevented further seizures for a few months. However, they started again, and even increased doses of medication didn’t help. After each seizure he was very disoriented, barely able to walk or see and quite distressed. As the seizures became more frequent, it was just terrible for him and I couldn’t bear to see him suffering and in so much distress. I miss him terribly, but will always be grateful that he was in my life for so long. He was a unique little character with a great personality. He and I had a very strong bond and I miss him dreadfully every single day.
However, I do have many loving and beautiful memories of him. He will never be forgotten.
