Goose and Stevie Uffelman were surrendered to us due to the ill health of their owner who was about to be placed in permanent care. They were recently adopted and as you can see from the photos are very much loved. Their adopter says:

Goose and Stevie now Zeus and Evie are the most adorable double bundle of love and joy. They have settled in well and are the absolute perfect addition to our family. They do everything together, exploring their new home inside and out from the moment we got home. They really do stick together like Velcro.

Zeus had some surgery within the first few weeks and of course won the hearts of staff at the vet clinic.

Evie has been on a weight loss journey and has dropped almost 25% of her body weight!! Well done Evie.

Enjoying life together as a family means long walks for us humans (up to 10kms) and short walks coupled with rides in the pram or in a sling across our chests for them. Free Treats at the coffee shop as they sit politely in their pram while people comment on how adorable they are. Sooo tiny, sooo adorable and so on. Both have such individual personalities Zeus is friendly with all dogs big and small wanting to chat and engage in play when out and about, at home he is happiest snuggled under a blanket or curled up on a lap with miss Evie not far away.

Evie loves to talk to us to invite us to play together. Out and about she is happy to let Zeus do all the interacting, at home she is a snuggle bug loving pats and cuddles all day long if they are available. When it comes to bedtime in the evening we all settle in and sleep as a pack.

Our part of this journey has been easy and enjoyable because of the wonderful people and support from Victorian dog rescue.

We can’t thank you enough.
