This weekend was a double celebration for us. It is 8 years since we adopted Maxi and Luka, and also their birthdays – they have turned 15. They are brothers and we have been so privileged to give them a new home, most importantly together, as they’d never been separated.

They’re slowing up just a tad, but we still get greeted with zoomies when we get home, get bossed around and told in no uncertain terms when it’s walk time, and every day they make us laugh with their eccentric and endearing ways. We can’t imagine life without “The Little Gentlemen” as I call them.
