NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Meet Bella and Honey, a beautiful mother and daughter duo. These girls are very sweet and oh so pretty. Honey is the mum and a bit timid but Bella is full of confidence. But they both love people and when they warm up to you and begin to trust, they are sweet and playful, doing zoomies in the yard and rolling around on the mat. Their foster carer says they are very well behaved and love to be out and about, walking well on their twin lead.

They are house-trained, sleep well at night and have good recall. Both travel well in a car. They can sometimes be startled by loud noises, but that passes quickly, once they feel secure. They are quite small, so you need to be mindful not to step on them accidentally as they like to be close.
Bella is generally reactive to other dogs, so best to avoid dog parks, but both girls love their walks.
Their ideal home would be an older family, couple or person to play with them and have them close by as they love interacting with their humans. They are still quite active and need stimulation, so a yard would also be great.

These girls are very lovely and so so cute! They will add a lot of joy to the right family.

Thank you to Mel of Happy Tails Pet Photography for the fantastic photos of Bella and Honey.

Medical Notes: Both girls have heart murmurs, and will be visiting the cardiologist shortly.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
