NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Gorgeous Chester, with his beautiful big brown eyes and huggable and friendly personality is looking for a new forever home. Whilst he is unsure of change, once he has settled in his new environment his lovable and bubbly personality will show itself.  He loves his humans and enjoys nothing more than a cuddle and to be the best dog he can be.

He has limited training to date and would love a home where his people will help extend his basic training. Chester enjoys his walks and can pull on the lead at the start or when he sees a fellow four legged friend, but once he is into his walk he walks well on the lead. He really loves other dogs and gets on well with them. He gets excited when he sees a friend, and just wants to play and be friends, so he still needs some help learning to read the cues of other dogs and retreat when others are not interested. Chester has grown up with cats and as with dogs, just wants to play with them. He loves his soft toys and showing his gentle side, by caring for them and taking them around the house with him.

Chester has the potential to be a great dog given the right family environment. He would love a family that is willing to put in the time to help him finesse his doggie manners, provide him with lots of cuddles and include him in their family life. Medical Notes:

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
