NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Choco is going to be a gem of a dog. He is delightful, enthusiastic and awesome in the car. This friendly boy has quite an amazing connection with people and other dogs and is an absolute joy to be around when he is settled.

Choco is crate-trained now. He is a fast learner, eager to please and is going ahead in leaps and bounds.

Choco’s new home will see him with the company of his people or another dog for most of the day. He definitely needs to live with another dog, a dog that is a good match for him.

BUT Choco has had very little in his life to date.  He can be anxious with new people and places.  And because in the past he didn’t have the opportunity to relate to other dogs his manners are a work in progress.

His current mate, the lovely Baggins, has had to tell him off a few times to remind him that social awareness is important whether you have two legs or four.   He is becoming more dog aware but still needs that experienced handler to keep him out of trouble.

Choco needs someone to continue guiding him on his way to be the perfect dog he was meant to be.  Is that you?

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
