Horace is a playful, cheeky and amazingly friendly young boy who is looking for a new life with a family to love him and guide him to be the best dog he can be. Horace may be blind, but he makes up for it extremely well with his other senses. Horace came into our care from a hoarding situation, so he is a little frightened of new things. He also needs a lot of positive affirmation to encourage him to try and experience new things.
He isn’t fully house trained, but is learning as he goes, some extra training and time for him to get used to the environment would be necessary. Horace is fine for living with cats and other dogs, some getting used to at first but will live happily with them. Horace is also okay with being picked up and riding in the car. He is a fast learner so learning new commands will come naturally, he already knows his name and a few other words like outside, step and crate (bed).
Horace is an excitingly happy dog who just wants to experience the world with you. He would love to be a part of a family with other dogs as well as someone who can watch over him for most of the day. He will need a dedicated family, but Horace will be the best friend you will ever have. He has a big heart and a cheeky side that will fill you with happiness. So fill out the application for Horace today and create a new life for both of you to relish.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
