NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Please note: Laurent will do best with another small dog as he has some separation anxiety and this helps to settle him.
Laurent is an affectionate soul who will grow to be your shadow after only a few days of love and gentle coaxing. Treats help of course! Read on to learn all the information you need to know about this gem of a pooch.
Laurent is very human orientated. He loves to follow you like a little shadow and is a beautiful little lap dog. Laurent rarely barks but don’t let his tiny body deceive you – when he wants your attention, he has a loud bark which is endearing.
Laurent likes a 20 minute minimum walk per day wearing his doggy harness, trotting happily along. He doesn’t pull on the lead, although he does bark at other dogs when out walking. Laurent is house trained. He doesn’t yet respond to commands but could most certainly learn with some time put into his training.
We would love to see Laurent find a home where there are plenty of snuggles and he gets to share most of your day with you – at home or out and about. If he can’t be with you ideally he will be at home with company as he doesn’t like being left alone for too long.
Do you have what it takes to provide Laurent with his perfect home? He is a sweet boy who will quickly become your whole world.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
