NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Puppy power

Milo is a quintessential puppy – exuberant, loving and eager to learn. Given the right training and boundaries he will be a cracker addition to your family.

Milo loves attention. He can get excited but listens when when told to settle down.

He is friendly with other dogs, possibly a bit too much with his excitement, but can settle into great play and can be redirected when told. He will need ongoing socialisation with other dogs to be a polite member of the doggie world but the early signs are good. He will need regular exercise and mental stimulation to tire out his puppy energy.

He has some recall ability but can get distracted, and has shown he is eager to learn commands like drop and sit. With time and consistency he will learn quickly as he seems quite smart.

He is ok on a lead but can pull when coming across other dogs as he wants to play.

He travels well in the car.

His ideal home is with an active person(s) or amongst a family who will give him attention, cuddles and importantly exercise. We think he can (and would like to) live with another dog but will need obedience training and to learn to respect boundaries and settle down. We think he will learn quickly given the right training.

He is a lovely lovely boy and will absolutely thrive in a loving home.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
