NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Ricky is a wonderful dog and a very reluctant surrender. He really does touch the hearts of everyone he meets and it is hard not to fall in love. Ricky loves his lick mat and many varied toys along with his comfort bear Boris who is half the size of him.
Ricky can be quite the chilled boy and often needs convincing to go for a walk. He will go for a walk with you, but when he has had enough will return the favor and walk you back home.

Ricky has been having regular training sessions where we are working on his confidence while out walking and calmly meeting other dogs on lead.
Ricky’s best friend is a little kelpie who lives next door to him – they play really nicely even when Ricky takes his friend’s frisbee.

This amazing boy will do well with a family with older teenagers or an adult person/couple. A settled, confident doggie friend to share his family and world with would be perfect for Ricky. Additional information about Ricky will be available soon.

Definitely no cats for Ricky.

Thank you to Liv Morison of Liv Morison photography for the fantastic photos of Ricky.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
