RIP  Judd Swan Hill Pound 2010. Judd caught parvo at the vet and nearly died. He was then lucky enough to go to a great home.

“A few weeks ago, Judd suffered a seizure. Due to his age my partner and I decided not to go through with investigations to find out the cause.

The weeks following, Judd’s quality of life had deteriorated. Our concern was that we didn’t want Judd to suffer due to prolonging the inevitable. We discussed on Saturday afternoon when was the right time to end Judd’s beautiful life and we agreed that the time is now.

As I write this, I am so sad. The house seems empty. He bought so much laughter and love to our lives. My partner said that he was mine. He thought that I was god. He would be in his bed with one eye open looking across at me.

He spent his life with his fur brothers and sisters including his bestie Cleo (another staff x rescue). They had a lot of fun together, on long walks, beach romps at the Altona Dog Beach, Road Trips etc.

Thank you so much for doing what you do. Life would not have been the same without that Little Black Dog. We will miss him so.”
