Lila was a sweet girl who stole everyone’s heart with her gentle, affectionate presence. She loved going for walks, sniffing and investigating absolutely everything, meeting other dogs, and trying to chase magpies.

At home she would often sit near the window, enjoying the sun on her face.

A quiet, loving girl who enjoyed routine and always let me know when it was bedtime. Although she had the choice between five different dog beds, the ‘big bed’ was her absolute favourite. Every night she would wait at the side of my bed to be lifted up before rearranging her blankets and cozying in. During the night, after getting up for her night wee and drink then back to the big bed, she would reposition herself and lie with her body pressed against my chest where she would stay until morning, snoring and snorting away in pure bliss and contentment. She loved life and tried so very hard.

I adored her and will miss her.
