In Loving Memory of Wally Fraid.
Wally came to us as a pup from Moira Pound, Cobram in 2013. Another of the beautiful dogs from the Drought Dogs Program that had to live extra well for the others that died when this was a high-kill pound.
“Wally Fraid recently lost his battle with cancer at age 11. He was a beloved member of his adopted family and a friend to everyone he met, whether two-legged or four. With his kind nature, wise heart, and constant readiness for a cuddle, Wally brought joy and comfort to all.
He was an adventurer who loved life’s simple pleasures—chasing waves, exploring new places, and basking in the sun. Wally’s calm demeanour was matched by his enthusiasm for every moment, and his love of food was only surpassed by his love for life.
Wally was not just a pet; he was a loyal companion and a constant source of happiness. Even in his final days, he faced his illness with grace and courage.
His spirit will live on in the cherished memories he left behind. Wally will always be loved and remembered fondly.”
