NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Bear Hartwell is gentle, sweet, energetic, affectionate and communicative. He is an incredibly loyal dog and bonds quickly with the people in his world. Bear quickly becomes your shadow and will follow you everywhere. He loves rubs and cuddles and will bestow you with his attention all day every day. What more could you ask for?

Bear is very good with other dogs – he is gentle and not at all aggressive. He is house trained, good on lead, excited initially but does settle with command. Bear is obedient for the most part, sometimes you may need to repeat the commands depending on what he is doing.

This incredible boy loves his walks and retrieving his ball. He just adores being entertained by you and loves to be with someone all the time. A spacious home with a dog door and large backyard would be a wonderful outcome for Bear. It is important his new family has the desire and time to engage him in play, exercise and affection.

Any time invested in Bear’s love and care will be returned tenfold. The family who Bear chooses to take him home will be very lucky indeed.

Bear is untested with cats.

Thank you to Hamish of Appleby Photography for the fantastic photos of Bear.
