NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Say hi to Charlie Upchurch. This magnificent little dog has so much love to give. He delights in being picked up, carried and cuddled. He rests on his carer’s chest and sleeps in her arms like a baby. Charlie has adjusted well to his foster home and as he feels more secure is coming out of his shell, trusting more and giving his waggly tail a workout. He will follow you everywhere and knows that the kitchen means yummy breakfasts and dinners. He patiently waits for his food and never takes his eyes off his carer whilst it is being prepared. Charlie flinches when someone pats him, but this is improving as he starts to feel safe.

Charlie walks well on lead – he is loving his walks. Charlie is good with other dogs, he is tolerant – very relaxed and isn’t reactive. He travels well and is often in the car helping with errands. Who doesn’t need a cute little helper?

Charlie yearns for connection, love and security. Any love given will be returned tenfold. Can you give this divine little soul the life he longs for and deserves?

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
