NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Petunia is a happy girl, very friendly with a heart full of love. You quickly become her world and she doesn’t like to let you out of sight. Petunia had bonded well with her carer and loves to sit under the desk as she works. There’s nothing like a little fur companion to make your work day so much better!

Petunia has a good appetite and is learning to sit for her food.  So far, she seems good with other dogs when out walking. She does at times jump up if she would like to be picked up or reassured but this is resolving as she is mastering the “down” command. Petunia is smart and eager to please so responds well to training. We don’t think Petunia was walked on lead prior to coming into our care but she is a fast learner, always watching for reassurance and responding straight away. She doesn’t pull the leash and tends to walk by your side. Petunia is house trained and quickly learnt how to use the doggie door.

At this stage we believe Petunia would like to share her home with a doggy companion and a family/person who are happy for this sweet girl to spend most of her time with them.

Petunia is a wonderful dog. She will enrich your life in so many ways. She can’t wait to meet you and to finally come home.
