Are you looking for love on legs? A pup who brings joy to all around her? Then Divine Ms Dizzy may be the girl for you. With a heart of gold to match the flecks in her coat, Dizzy is an absolute delight. She has settled in beautifully with her foster family, loving the hubbub of a busy home, and proving to be friendly and gentle with all humans, small and big, and a playful companion to her canine foster brother. Dizzy loves a cuddle, likes to keep a chew toy or two on hand in her bed, and is the zoom queen at the local dog park, thriving on making new friends. Dizzy is housetrained and sleeps quietly through the night near her foster carers’ bed. She is a very special girl who quickly makes her way into the hearts of all around her. That said, Dizzy has not been tested with cats.

With her sociable nature and love for her people, Dizzy struggles with separation anxiety and tends to express this through chewing what she shouldn’t when left inside alone. Her foster carers have been helping Dizzy with this through doggy daycare, and leaving her outside with her foster brother and toys and frozen kongs to entertain her when they are out for shorter periods. Dizzy has also recently started some medication to help her manage her anxiety. Crate training may also help her feel more secure. While Dizzy adores getting out and about, she is still getting used to walking on lead and would benefit from further loose lead training on a balance harness.

This glorious girl will do best in a family or active couple home where she is surrounded by love, a little action, and lots of pats. Regular exercise and a chance to interact with doggy friends at home and at the local park will make Dizzy very happy indeed. Dizzy wants people around more often than not, and her adoptive family will need to commit to helping her further manage her anxieties about being left without her humans.

Delightful Dizzy will repay this kindness with endless gentle adoration. If you think Dizzy might be the dog for you, she would love you to submit an adoption application.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
