NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Lola Wilberforce is a delightful girl who is always on the lookout for cuddles. If she could cuddle you all day she would!  She is easy going and so well behaved.

She is calm around the home and generally when out and about. Lola is fine with all dogs however she does become concerned when approached by a large dog who is off-lead when she is not and will demonstrate her popular hound bark. After a sniff and realising she is safe Lola does relax.

Lola is an intelligent girl who understands basic commands and has several extra tricks (bang, roll, spin, middle, pretty). She is very smart and would love further training. Due to her breed, she might yawn and stretch and consider it before complying though.  Lola’s relaxed look could fool you – she is energetic when called upon and enjoys going for runs.   She also recently tried paddleboarding and did not want to get off the board!

After a few weeks in her new home, you would be able to leave Lola for 5-6 hours, but she will need to stay indoors as she is known to jump 7ft fences to explore the neighbourhood.

Lola’s new home will be cat-free as she isn’t keen on them. At this stage we feel she will do well sharing her family with another dog and will have her humans around most of the time.

Lola has so much love to offer and giving this beautiful soul a forever home will be a decision you most certainly won’t regret!

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
