Do you have a nice comfy couch with a spare seat? Memphis certainly hopes so! After all, on the couch with his humans is Memphis’ happy place. This handsome boy is great with people and he loves pats and affection. He is an older dog who used to be very social, but age and arthritis have slowed him down.

Memphis is generally good with most dogs he knows and shared his home with a couple of toy poodle friends. He can be nervous around new dogs and will initially ignore them, but will react if he comes across a larger, more dominant dog that is in his personal space. Introductions to any dogs need to be done gradually to allow Memphis time to adjust and not feel threatened.

The best home for Memphis will be with teenagers/adults in a gentle and nurturing environment. His new people will understand Memphis is an older boy who isn’t quite as spritely as he used to be. Memphis does travel well in the car, so if you are out and about he will be a good little companion.

Memphis is looking forward to the next chapter of his life  – will that be with you?

Memphis is untested with cats.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
