NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Breed: Male Labrador Retriever
DOB: 13/01/2014
Weight: 40kgs
Location: Mount Evelyn

With his strong, waggly tail and lovable nature, this adorable boy will charm his way into your heart and home before you even know what has happened. Bourkey is a loved boy, but sadly his people have moved into aged care and couldn’t take him with them. Bourkey has a laid back nature, except for dinner time. He LOVES his food!

Bourkey gets along well with other dogs and is a bit of a social butterfly. Generally, Bourkey walks well on lead. When meeting dogs out and about he wags his tail and gets excited and pulls on the lead – he is quite strong. Bourkey loves his people and has always had someone to keep him company – he would love the same for his new home. Due to his vibrant and energetic personality, a home with small children wouldn’t be ideal as he may accidentally bump them in his excitement.

Bourkey is not good with birds, he is currently untested with cats. Bourkey has displayed some anxiety during his vet visits.

Bourkey has known love in a beautiful home and he can’t wait to find that again. Do you think Bourkey is the one for you?
