NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Breed: Female German Shorthaired Pointer Cross
DOB: 22/07/2022
Weight: 21.7kgs
Location: Northcote

Janie has the most beautiful, soulful eyes and fluffy soft ears. She is a wonderful combination of sweet, charming and goof ball. Janie is full of enthusiasm for life and is always on the lookout for some fun and loves playing and wrestling with her foster family’s dog.

Janie is confident in the house but a little anxious in new environments and when going on her walks. She can be unsure and wants to be right by your side as she seeks reassurance from you.

We are working with Janie on her basic commands and she has almost mastered house training. Janie is getting used to walking on lead. When she sees other dogs she will stand there and look at them – she seems keen to play. Janie has a tendency to jump up for your attention and to check out the bench or kitchen table. She is a smart girl, keen to please and we know she will learn quickly.

Have you been searching for a fun-loving companion to share your every day?  Then look no further than the lovable Janie. She can’t wait to meet you!

Janie is untested with cats and other pets.

Thank you to Angela (Al) Lane for the beautiful photos of Janie.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
