NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Calling those in need of a snuggly, sweet shadow. Meet Weenie, an affectionate girl who loves nothing more than an afternoon nap and a casual Sunday stroll.

This senior lady has a zest for life. Dinner time is a favourite and her sprightly attitude is best communicated by a wiggle on her back to make sure you know you’re her best friend. A little lump here and limp there doesn’t stop this girl, she’s happy to take a stroll to smell the roses anytime.

Weenie is a very respectable little lady with no behavioural issues and is house trained. She sounds like the perfect housemate to us!

A true companion who loves a sleep in, Weenie would be best buddied up with someone who’s looking for a partner to enjoy a leisurely retirement.

You may just be Weenie’s hero in waiting but she’ll pay you back with more love than you ever thought possible. All Weenie needs in return is a cuddle a day and a soft place to rest her head.

Can you spare a tiny spot on the couch for this little lady with a big heart? If so, please contact us or fill out the adoption form.

Microchip Number: 985111000490809
Source Number: RE120211
Medical Notes: Unfortunately Weenie is being further investigated for a mass in her abdomen and a problem with her leg.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
